At VHK Women’s Health Clinic we are passionate about delivering top quality medical management to women of all ages. With specialist training and expertise in the medical management of women’s health and menopause care, our doctors will listen, advise and create bespoke treatment plans for all our patients. As HRT specialists, we are able to prescribe all treatments including body identical HRT and testosterone.

Dr Victoria Hobbs
MBChB (Birmingham 2000) RCGP (2005 merit) DRCOG DCH DFSRH

Dr Vicky Hobbs is a practising NHS GP and has a specialist interest in peri-menopause and menopause care. She qualified as a doctor in 2000 and holds the British Menopause Society Certificate in Menopause Care along with a BSc Certificate in Community Gynaecology (Birmingham University).

She completed her general practice training in 2005 and forged an interest in women’s health in both general practice and whilst working at Brook, a young persons contraception and sexual health clinic. During this time, she completed additional training and gained the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) Diploma and specialist qualifications in coil and implant fitting and training.

She further developed her knowledge, skill and passion for menopause care by undertaking the FSRH Certificate in Menopause Care at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital Menopause Unit and was awarded this 2012 and then went on to complete an MSC Certificate in Community Gynaecology at the University of Birmingham and the Birmingham Women’s Hospital.

She continues to keep her passion and knowledge up to date through her membership of the British Menopause Society and the West Midland Menopause Society and she attends regular educational and scientific meetings. She also runs a support and advice service to her general practice colleagues on complex women’s health and menopausal cases.

Dr Heidi Kerr
MBChB (Birmingham 1997) FRCGP (2002 merit) DRCOG DCH DFSRH

Dr Heidi Kerr graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 1997 and completed her GP training in 2002. She is a practising GP Partner in the NHS alongside being a GP trainer, delivering education to fellow healthcare professionals. 

Her interest in women’s health developed early in her career, being one of the first trainees to undertake a dedicated post in women’s health. During this role and beyond, she gained invaluable and varied experience from dealing with female contraception dilemmas, treating sexual health conditions, managing pre-menstrual syndrome alongside other common gynaecology problems and supporting women with menopause management, a area she is truly passionate about. She delivers a comprehensive consultation through active listening whilst ensuring her patients understand all their options to develop an agreed holistic management plan. She thoroughly enjoys delivering expertise in practice to women at all stages of their lives, empowering her patients to make informed decisions to improve their future health.

Heidi is a member of the British Menopause Society being an active participant in regular educational meetings and training events.

Had my appointment today with Dr Heidi Kerr… what a lovely lady, and extremely knowledgeable! It was so nice to have everything explained thoroughly to me, nothing was rushed and I feel really confident about my new treatment plan! Ladies, If you’re wondering whether to pay this clinic a visit, my advice would be go as soon as you can.
